Dear De Anza Families,
Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year! I hope everyone had an enjoyable summer. I am looking forward to seeing our Tigers and hearing all about their summer fun. I am beyond excited and honored to continue serving here at De Anza. I am looking forward to a wonderful school year together.
Here is some important information as you prepare for the new school year:
-
Our office is now open from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Please complete your child’s Data Confirmation on the Aeries Parent Portal.

-
Back to School Night is on Monday, August 5th at 4:00 PM in the Multi-Purpose Room. We hope that you will join us from 4:00 to 5:30 PM. You will have a chance to visit your child’s classroom and meet with our phenomenal teachers. Everyone is encouraged to come and meet their teacher and explore their classroom!
-
School begins on Tuesday, August 6th at 7:30 AM. Students will be dismissed at 12:20 PM on August 6th and August 9th. There will be lots of traffic, so please plan to leave early to give yourself plenty of time to get here safely.
-
Parents are allowed to walk their children to their classroom only on the first day of school. All parents will need to exit the campus by 7:35 AM.
-

-
Dismissal Procedures: We have two different pick-up locations. Red pick-up and Green pick-up. Please let your child’s teacher know during Back to School Night or on the first day of school where your child will be picked up.

Red pick-up: If you like the drive-thru, Red pick-up will be your best option. It is located at the big bus loop on Young Street. Please remember to drive your car up as far as possible to make room for more cars to enter the loop.
-
Green pick-up: If you like to park your car and pick up your child on De Anza Street, green pick-up will be your best option.
